Digital X-Ray
Digital X ray reduces the patient & operator radiation dose ratio by 100 times there-by being safe for both the patient as well as the operator. It is even safe for pregnant women. There’s no waiting for x-ray developing and the features enable the doctor to accurately see, measure and diagnose the condition. Digital X-rays are widely trusted now-a-days.
Tooth Whitening
Teeth whitening is a simple process. Whitening products contain one of two tooth bleaches (hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide). These bleaches break stains into smaller pieces, which makes the color less concentrated and brightens your teeth. White teeth look attractive and healthy. We make sure your teeth are well whitened and the chemicals used are used appropriately.
Root Canal Treatment
This treatment would be done when the pulp is either necrosed or there is irreversible pulpitis. This treatment involves removing the soft pulp from within the tooth and shaping the canal to prepare it to accept the final restoration. A crown is a must after root canal filling as the tooth becomes brittle and is prone to fracture and the crown helps prevent that fracture.
Maxillofacial Trauma
The diagnosis of maxillofacial fractures can be challenging, as haematoma and swelling can mask the extent of the underlying injury. Overlooking a fracture may not have immediate consequences, but can result in disfigurement and permanent disability. Not only does this result in a disgruntled patient, it may affect their ability to continue to perform their occupation. Get it treated with us the right way.
Scar Revision
Scars are visible signs that remain after a wound has healed. They are the unavoidable results of injury or surgery, and their development can be unpredictable. Poor healing may contribute to scars that are obvious, unsightly or disfiguring. Even a wound that heals well can result in a scar that affects your appearance. Scars are noticeable due to their size, shape or location, and may differ in color or texture from the surrounding tissue.
Extraction
Extractions are performed under strict sterile and aseptic conditions using disposables. Patients might need to undergo some basic tests like blood sugar, BP, etc. Patients are advised to carry their previous medical reports for better and efficient treatment. They are even required to sign the written consent by the treating physician. Extraction can be a simple process or surgical in cases of impacted wisdom tooth.
Dentistry for Children
We pay special emphasis on treatment of children and undertake various procedures like pulpotomy, pulpectomy, restorations etc. Paediatric patients are more comfortable with Dr. Varshika Soni because of her polite nature and patience in dealing with children.
Wisdom Tooth Extraction Surgery
Wisdom tooth extraction is a surgical procedure to remove one or more wisdom teeth — the four permanent adult teeth located at the back corners of your mouth on the top and bottom. Wisdom tooth extraction may be done by a dentist or an oral surgeon.
Dental Porcelain Ceramic Bridge
Multiple crowns joined together to replace one or more missing teeth is a bridge. It can be made in non-precious metal, precious metal like gold (gold to be provided by patient), porcelain fused to metal or of Zirconia. The crowns made of Zirconia carry a warranty of specific years depending on the type of Zirconia used.
Tooth Coloured Filling
Nowadays natural looking and metal free fillings are becoming preferred over past approaches. Dentists are using more tooth like materials that are both safe and predictable.
The external part of the tooth is called the enamel, which is arguably the hardest natural material produced by animals. It consists of very closely knit calcium crystals and contains no living tissue. Dental porcelains easily and efficiently imitate the enamel part of a tooth.
Restoring teeth or literally rebuilding them successfully depends on a good bond between resin materials and both the enamel and dentin. Restorative dentistry recreates a tooth that not only looks natural but responds naturally too, allowing bite stress to pass through the tooth while receiving biting force.
Orthodontic Braces
Modern brackets are smaller and less noticeable than the notorious “metal-mouth” braces that many adults remember. Plus, new heat-activated archwires use your body heat to help teeth move more quickly and less painful than in the past.
Ceramic braces are the same size and shape as metal braces, except that they have tooth-colored or clear brackets that blend in to teeth. Some even use tooth-colored wires to be even less noticeable.
Lingual braces are the same as traditional metal braces, except that the brackets and wires are placed on the inside of teeth.
Invisalign consists of a series of 18 to 30 custom-made, mouth guard-like clear plastic aligners. The aligners are removable and are replaced every 2 weeks.
Full & Partial Removable Denture
Partial dentures have been used to replace groups of teeth or a few teeth scattered across the lower or upper jaw. There are a variety of removable partial dentures available to patients.
Full dentures are similar to partial dentures in that they are prosthetic teeth and gums used to replace missing teeth. The main difference is that full dentures are a total replacement system for either upper or lower teeth and, in some cases both.
Overdentures are a newer alternative to dentures combining traditional denture technology with modern advancements. By establishing two implanted attachments to the lower jaw, an overdenture is able to sit securely in place to instantly increase retention stability and comfort.
An implant supported denture is a type of overdenture that is supported by and attached to implants.
Cosmetic Dentistry
A great smile should improve your self-confidence, which can have a positive impact on the social and professional aspects of your life. Cosmetic dentistry is not just about pretty smiles though. New techniques and materials are available for back teeth as well as those seen when you smile. Now your mouth can look great, get healthy, and function better, all at the same time.
With good home care and regular visits to your dentist, modern materials can last for many years, and possibly decades. Like most things, excellent maintenance will extend the life of your dental restorations.
We’re a skilled & experienced team of cosmetic dentists who can help to improve your appearance, your smile, even your self-esteem, and confidence.
Dental Implant
Dental Implants are actually a series of procedures used to recreate a missing tooth. The key part of a dental implant is the initial titanium implant which sits in the original tooth’s bone pocket or alveolus. The titanium works well with the bone and actually forms a bond with it over time much like the original bond between the tooth and the jaw bone. This is essential as it prevents bone loss that would normally occur with any other type of tooth replacement.
At first glance it appears that a bridge is the more economical than dental implants. But when comparing cost versus value, dental implant is more cost effective and the better treatment option if the patient is a candidate for implants.
Periodontal Gum Surgery
Periodontal Gum Surgery (also known as Periodontal Plastic Surgery) is designed to restore form and function to the gum tissue, periodontal ligament, and the bone that supports your teeth or an individual tooth.
Periodontal Disease is diagnosed when gingival or gum tissue attachment to the teeth is abnormal and bone changes may be evident through x rays. It does not always respond to conservative measures taken before and after diagnosis.
When periodontal disease is detected, you will first be recommended for a few behavioral changes including an enhanced oral hygiene program, quitting smoking and possibly some additional lifestyle changes.
Impaction
As the modern life style progresses so does our diet and as with every coin “HEAD” and “TAIL” are packaged together. Fine food results in less exercise of jaw bones and comparatively less growth as compared to our ancestors leading to insufficient space for some teeth to erupt which get embedded in the jaw bones and are required to be removed as they cause lot of pain, swelling and discomfort. They may even cause stress on the jaws and even provide breeding ground to caries forming bacteria. Removal of such teeth under antibiotic cover and repairing the site with follow up supporting treatment for any extracted tooth site is required.
